What solution is best for me?
Generally we would recommend the Pay-As-You-Go French SIM card to anyone that visits France frequently but for short periods. As an alternative we recommend the Pay-Monthly French SIM card options to people who spend more than 3 months a year in France or are high mobile users (expats, seasonal workers, students and business people).
How does the Pay-As-You-Go service work?
All you need to do is ensure that your mobile handset is unlocked and then simply switch your UK SIM card for your new French SIM card on arrival. The French SIM card works on a Pay-As-You-Go basis therefore when your credit runs low all you need to do is purchase additional credit in 1000's of retail outlets nationwide.
How does the Pay-Monthly service work?
You simply subscribe to a 6, 9 or 12 month contract at £6.99, £14.99 or £29.99 a month. All calls, SMS and data usage are then billed in addition (50 or 150 minutes per month local calls on the Inclusive 50 & 150 Plans) to the line rental fee on a monthly basis directly to your UK or French credit card. Every month you will receive your itemised bill via email. It could not be easier. All you need to do is ensure that your mobile handset is unlocked and then simply switch your UK SIM card for your new French SIM card on arrival.
Pay-As-You-Go
Our Pay-As-You-Go SIM card costs £34.99 as a one off purchase and can save you 70% against roaming charges. The SIM card is ideal if you want to avoid roaming charges, control your costs and have a French number. However, as with all French mobile networks you will have to purchase top-up vouchers locally to keep the SIM active and the calling credit has set expiry periods. Pay-monthly
Our unique French Pay-Monthly SIM card packages cost £6.99 (Basic Plan), £14.99 (Inclusive 50 Plan) and £29.99 (Inclusive 150 Plan) per month plus a one off setup fee of £10.00 (or £15.00 if delivery is made to France). Calling rates are up to 50% cheaper than the Pay-As-You-Go SIM. However the major advantage of this SIM card is greater convenience; no expiry periods or topping up, fully itemised billing, English voicemail and customer service.
