What solution is best for me?
We would recommend our Basic Plan for customers who visit Germany regularly and wish to avoid the inconvenience of a Pay-As-You-Go SIM card, whilst making great savings and receiving English customer support. If you live, work or plan to study in Germany then a Pay-monthly German SIM contract is ideal.

Why should I get a pay-monthly SIM rather than a prepaid SIM?
Not only will you save in excess of 50% on call charges you will also receive the following advantages:

Why should I get a Pay-Monthly SIM card from 0044 rather than a German Network?
Because we have taken all of the hassle out of dealing with a German network whilst providing better value for money and additional features such as English customer support, English Voicemail, English fully itemised billing and delivery directly to your address in the UK before you travel.
 
Also, it is very difficult for English customers to obtain a mobile contract directly with a German network due to the requirement of a credit history. There are no such problems when acquiring a contract through ourselves.

Subscription Period
Normal contract minimums of 6 months apply. After the initial 6 months, and on request, the contract will be cancelled. The Pay-monthly SIM contracts are billed to your UK based credit card on a monthly basis and each month you’ll receive an itemised bill via email detailing your call history. Debit cards and direct debits are not accepted payment methods currently.

Important Information
You may be requested to provide additional proof of I. D. via fax or email after purchase to verify delivery address. This is a quick and simple process and ensures you will receive the SIM card promptly and securely, usually within 5-7 working days.

GPRS Internet Connection
With GPRS you are able to access email and the Internet from a phone or from a laptop or PDA using your phone, while maintaining a constant connection. The peak data transfer speeds range from 26kbps - 52kbps depending on the hardware used.

Our price of £6.75/Mb offers a massive saving compared to the £10.00/Mb charged by UK network operators whilst in Germany. GPRS is an ideal solution if you do not have a landline internet connection or require access to emails whilst on the move.

Examples of applications that require or are suited to GPRS include:

• Sending and receiving email. Large attachments may download more slowly than text-only email
• Internet browsing

As you will be connected with GPRS for long periods of time, you are generally only charged for the information transferred.

One megabyte = 500 wap pages = 20 web pages = 25 emails, approximately.

Roaming
For security reasons roaming is not available by default on the SIM card. However you can activate roaming by providing a deposit once in receipt of the SIM card. Alternatively, if you merely wish to check your voicemail whilst roaming (in the UK) this can be easily done by remotely calling your new German mobile number from a land line and entering your security code. Please note that higher roaming charges apply outside of Germany and you will pay to receive calls. For full roaming rates please email us.
