• Who's it for?

  The European SIM card is an ideal solution for people who wish to check their emails or social media. It delivers a quality and cost effective solution that’s both easy to use, simple to understand and, above all, great value for money.

• How long will the credit last?

  Your Credit & SIM will remain active indefinitely if you use a charged service within any six month period. eKIT will send you an email and text message notification one week in advance of your service becoming inactive.

  Regular ongoing top-ups are in £GBP but to re-instate an expired balance the top up will be in $USD.
  If your Service does become inactive, all your remaining credit (including the credit that comes included with the SIM) will expire. However, we will automatically re-instate your full expired credit balance (including any remaining initial included call credit) if you recharge your account with the equivalent of $30 or more via Customer Service within fifteen (15) months of last use, or purchase a new SIM card from Customer Service after fifteen (15) months. Recharging with additional credit is quick and simple and can be done online or over the phone. You need a minimum balance of £5.00 in order to use data. If you get an error message, disable data roaming, top up your account and then re-enable data roaming.

• What devices will the SIM work in

  We would recommend using a MiFi device for simple plug and play usage. Alternatively the data SIM card will work in most unlocked; dongles, tablets, smartphones. However it will NOT work in a Blackberry.

• Why is my SIM not working?

  This can happen due to one of 3 reasons:

  • Your device is locked for use with external SIM cards. Meaning, you will be unable to use your phone with SIM cards that do not belong to your native carrier. Please contact your carrier to unlock your device.
  • You are located in an area with no GSM data coverage. Please change your location and restart your device.
  • Your device is set to be used with the wrong carrier. Please go to your settings menu and set "Carrier Selection" to "Automatic" or check your APN settings.

• What are the APN settings?

  APN: mobiledata - Password: None (leave blank) - Username: None (leave blank)

• How good is the coverage?

  Please check the coverage before you depart unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for poor coverage, so please check the coverage tab.

• How much data will I need?

  One MB allows you to send about 40 text e-mails, make around 75 Google searches, surf on Facebook or LinkedIn 5 times.

• How to configure your smartphone

  If the automatic phone configuration process does not show your model of phone, please click here for instructions on how to manually configure your phone. Please note: WAP and Internet access, email, instant messaging, and MMS are features of many phones, but not all. Prepaid data is required to enable these features if they are available on your phone. Please check which features are supported by your phone.You can enable or disable a data connection to your SIM card. To enable data dial 313. To disable data dial 312.
