How does it work?
All you need to do is ensure that your mobile handset is unlocked and then simply switch your UK SIM card for the SIM card on arrival. The SIM card works on a Pay-As-You-Go basis therefore in order to continue to use the SIM card you must purchase top-up vouchers locally.
Validity
The SIM card and credit plus further top ups are valid for 365 days. Top up vouchers (available as $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $70, $80, $90 or $100 NZD) can be bought at retailers throughout New Zealand in 6000+ outlets displaying the ‘e-pay’ or ‘eazi-pay’ logos (Garages, newsagents, supermarkets, convenience stores, post offices and many other similar outlets.)
Data
The 2degrees SIM card is data enabled and data is charged at NZ 50 cents per MB. However, further data specific top ups can be purchased at relevant retailers in New Zealand which include data bundles and additional features.
