How does the service work?
All you need to do is ensure that your mobile handset is unlocked and then simply switch your UK SIM card for your new Spanish SIM card on arrival. The Spanish SIM card works on a Pay-As-You-Go basis therefore when your credit runs low all you need to do is purchase additional credit in 1000's of retail outlets nationwide.

Once you have received your SIM card you can change the calling plan to suit. Calls to Voicemail and SMS rates remain as above regardless of the tariff.
* €30.00 - €18 upfront and €12 on the completion of a questionnaire. Vodafone can take up to 60 days to add the additional credit. The initial credit is net of Spanish Sales Tax (19%).

When you activate your Spanish SIM card you will have the choice of tariffs; Vitamina Minutos 60x1 and Tiempo Libre.

The first minute is billed as one complete minute and additional minutes are charged in 30 second intervals. A connection fee of 25p applies per call. Local calls are billed per second.
Topping Up
In order to continue to use the SIM card you must purchase top-up vouchers locally in Spain. Top-Up vouchers can be purchased at 1000’s of retail outlets (garages, supermarkets, convenience stores etc) nationwide.
Buy 2 SIM cards and call between them for 2p/min!
If you purchase 2 Spanish Vodafone SIM cards you can call between them within Spain for just 2p/min! This is really simple to set-up and is ideal if you are traveling with someone else.
Coverage
Please check the coverage before you depart unfortunately we can not issue a refund for poor coverage. However our SIM card offers coverage for 92%+ of the population. Validity
To keep your account active you must top it up at least once every 12 months. If you do not add any calling credit within a 9 month period, your remaining credit will be lost.
