• What will it do for me?

  Whether you intend to simply browse the internet, bank on-line, book flights, download music and photographs or send and receive email, our mobile data solution offer you the flexibility you want and the simplicity you need.

• What sort of technology and equipment do I need?

  You will need a device to connect to mobile internet. Either a MiFi device, USB Dongle or Smartphone.

• How easy is it to set-up?

  Very easy indeed. Providing your laptop or PC meets the above requirements it really is a ‘plug & play’ experience. However you do need to make sure that your MiFi, USB dongle or smartphone is unlocked.

• What are the APN settings?

  APN: three.co.uk Password: None (leave blank), User Name: None (leave blank).

• How good is the coverage?

  Please check the coverage before you depart unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for poor coverage, so please check the coverage tab.

• Data calculator - how much will I need?

  For general usage 1GB will be enough. One MB allows you to send about 40 text e-mails, make around 75 Google searches, surf on Facebook or LinkedIn 5 times. With Skype mobile, 1 MB is enough to send and receive about 13 messages a day and make one Skype call of about 4 minutes.

• Data usage and validity

  The initial 1GB is valid for 30 days after activation. Further data budles can be easily purchased online or in store.

• Roaming

  Roaming outside of the UK is available but can be very costly, £3.00/MB+. We would suggest that you use our global SIM card if you wish to have mobile data outside of the UK.
