EU text rates to drop but roaming still applies…
The EU commission has succeeded in capping UK network mobile roaming charges for mobile phone users across Europe, and has now introduced plans to cap the text rates in the summer of 2009. However, the caps still mean that a UK user in Europe continues to pay to receive all calls and will be charged around three times the price of a UK domestic call when abroad. 0044 now provides two options to help you beat the charges that remain.
