Spanish SIM cards are notoriously difficult to register for non-nationals, however our exclusive agreement with Happy Movil means you can be set-up before you land.
Just insert the Spanish SIM card into an Unlocked Handset and benefit from some amazing rates!
Calls are billed on a per second basis, additional minutes are charged in per second intervals. A per call connection fee of 30p applies to international calls. Local calls are billed per second and a 13p connection fee applies.
*The local call set up fee applies to calls between 2 Happy Movil SIMs but there is no on-going per minute charge unless the fair usage policy is exceeded; free calls are limited to 10mins per call, 60 mins per day, 500 mins per month after which the rate is 10p/min.

The Happy Movil Spanish SIM card is activated automatically upon arrival in Spain with the first full minute call and the Spanish phone number is available inside the pack prior to departure. It will not roam outside of Spain and cannot be activated before arrival. With the increased security surrounding in-bound travel to Spain and greater data protection policies there is a requirement by law to provide identification to the network and this registration must be completed upon receiving the SIM and ahead of departure. You will be required to confirm your passport number (one passport per SIM purchased), name and nationality as well as SIM ID number and agree to that information being securely held by the Spanish network.
To continue to use the Spanish Happy Movil SIM card you must purchase and add top-up vouchers locally in Spain. Top-Up vouchers can be purchased at many retail outlets and convenience stores, but predominantly through The Phone House Stores with Euros, Automatic bank cashiers: La Caixa, Bancaja, Servired, 4B (with a Spanish bank card). El Corte Ingles Shopping Centres. Hipercor, Supercor, Telecor, Opencor supermarkets. Most post offices. Money exchange offices – Fexco,Western Union. Alsa Bus Shops and Alsa Airport shops, Kiosks, Gas Stations and Newsagents. Credit levels can be checked by dialing a short code from the mobile while in Spain.
Please check the coverage before you depart unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for poor coverage.
To keep your account active you must top-up at least once every 6 months. If you do not add any calling credit within a 6 month period, your remaining credit will be lost. The credit that you add is valid until the SIM expires and each top-up you make will ‘refresh’ the SIM validity for a 6 month period. Once the SIM is first activated with a call on arrival in Spain the 5 Euros credit is available. You will receive an additional bonus top up of 5 Euros if you add a further 10 Euros providing this is done within 45 days of first activation. Credit can be easily checked by using a short dial code on the handset.
